Diana Smith, ARNP, FNP-C, Advanced Botox and Juvederm Training
Diana Smith is a native of Independence, Iowa. She studied nursing at the College of St. Catherine (St. Catherine University) in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 2007. She then began her nursing career in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Minneapolis Children’s Hospital. She entered the Masters of Nursing program at the University of Cincinnati in March 2010. That year she also returned to Iowa and, while completing her advanced degree, was employed by Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson, Iowa.
She graduated with honors upon completion of her master’s degree in March 2012. After completing her education she accepted a position in dermatology at Unity Point in Fort Dodge, Iowa, where she received advanced training in the administration of Botox and Juvederm. She accepted a position with Wellendorf ENT in Carroll, Iowa, in early 2014. At Wellendorf ENT she treats a wide variety of patients with complaints ranging from ear, nose and throat problems to basic skin health and advanced cosmetic skin care.
She enjoys camping with her husband Eric and 2 children. Diana currently sits on the board of directors for the Iowa Nurse Practitioner Society and serves as the NW district and Marketing representative. She initially became involved with INPS as a way to meet colleagues and become more involved with strengthening the role of the nurse practitioner in rural Iowa.
